Teach-in Education has created a special place for language teachers, writers and teacher trainers around the world. We want to help other teachers share their paths, accomplishments and challenges and put the word out there. There are many teachers who would like to share their work but do not know how to, or others who share their work and would like other opportunities to broaden their contacts. Once a month we will boost this teacher on our mailing list and social media. Come and be part of our global teacher´s network. Contact us to get the guidelines at contato@teach-in.com.br
We would love to have you on board with us!

Better Writer = Better Teacher – Some Tips to Get into ELT Materials Writing
I believe that every English teacher has, at least once during their professional life, came up with their own materials. Sometimes we do that to complement a coursebook or attend students’ specific needs. Other times, we are not happy with the materials we are supposed to use in class – or we have no materials at all.

The biggest secret in ELT…how do I become a CELTA tutor?
Since training-up as a CELTA tutor in 2016, there is one question that I have been asked more than any other: ‘How do I get to do what you are doing?!’ From fellow teacher trainers, to newly qualified CELTA trainees, almost everyone in ELT wants to know the answer to this seemingly simple question.

Challenges and opportunities in teacher education
Often times we discuss the future of education, innovations, tools, content that may accompany the world we live in. Researchers and authors such as Freeman (2016) publish in-depth materials to boost the area of teacher education as well.

Google classroom: An enticing tool that can change your teacherpreneurship!
A couple of years ago I started designing courses for my business bearing in mind two different teaching trails: a synchronous (live) one trail and an asynchronous moment. That way, I would provide my learners with multiple benefits such as more exposure to the language, more teaching/learning opportunities and an online educational tool that connects me with my learners.

Embracing uncertainty: how not to get stuck in a professional rut
At the very beginning of my career, I remember having one of those down-the-hall conversations with a more experienced colleague. He said: “I’ve been really thinking about what I want to do with my life. The truth is, I don’t know if I want to be teaching the verb “to be” 10 years from now, answering the same questions students ask, over and over again”

Teaching English with a creative view. Accounts by an artist who has become an English teacher
Thinking about a way to introduce myself in a learning and teaching context, I start recalling my first English class in a well-known English school in São Paulo and good memories come to my mind. I remember my teacher looking at me and saying “Oh, it seems we have new faces today!” I was happy I could understand what she had said, as I knew she was talking about me due to my absence in the previous class.

Teacher Development: from Why to How
Never before has teacher development been requested in such fast pace and in such high demand. Maybe because there are too many alternatives, yet it can be overwhelming to choose what to do first, when to do it and how to invest your money.
